Encrypted in transit
Every byte that leaves your device travels over TLS 1.3 — the newest, strictest version of transport encryption. Nothing is ever sent in the clear.
Encrypted at rest
Files are stored with AES-256 encryption, the same standard used by banks and governments, with object versioning and WORM-capable Object Lock.
Built to not lose data
Storage is designed for eleven nines (99.999999999%) of durability with multi-region redundancy and a 99.99% uptime SLA — no single point of failure.
Redundant by architecture: Cloudflare R2
amardrive stores every file in Cloudflare R2, object storage engineered for eleven nines (99.999999999%) of designed durability. In practice that means your data is written redundantly across multiple locations before an upload is even confirmed — a failed disk, a failed server, or an entire region going offline does not put a single file at risk.
On top of that redundancy, R2 gives every object versioning and WORM-capable Object Lock, so accidental overwrites are recoverable and retention can be enforced at the storage layer itself — not just by application code.
Protected at the edge: Cloudflare DNS & network
Before a request ever touches your files, it passes through Cloudflare's global anycast network — the same edge infrastructure that serves a significant share of the entire web and absorbs some of the largest DDoS attacks ever recorded. DNS for amardrive.com resolves at the Cloudflare datacenter nearest to you, and hostile traffic is filtered there, far away from your data.
Every connection terminates with TLS 1.3, the newest version of transport encryption, and there is no unencrypted path anywhere between your device and storage. Fewer moving parts, no single point of failure, nothing sent in the clear.
